Project Goal: Design and tool exterior plastics related to closure systems, including door cladding, rear spoiler, and liftgate button component.

Role: Design engineer

Details:

• Supported design of three exterior plastic components:

  • Door cladding (polycarbonate)

  • Rear spoiler (polycarbonate)

  • Liftgate button component (polycarbonate)

• Developed schematics and drawings for parts listed above.

• Worked cross-functionally with body closures team, lighting team, and infotainment team to ensure all targets were met.

• Supported supplier engagements and selections.
